The residency and performance provide positive exposure to instrumental chamber and band music, and gives sustained, in-depth interactions with professional musicians.Success will be measured by students who are engaged, improved instrumental playing, and a full audience for the capstone performance. Feedback surveys measure overall reaction.

The master class was open to the public and about a third of the audience was made up of non students.
