Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The TPRS artists have had their annual festival in Proctor for many years starting at the Proctor Area Community Center (PACC) and eventually moving to the St Luke's Sports and Event Center. Proctor Hermantown Community Education has for many years been offering Rosemaling every Thursday from 9am to 12pm at the PACC. There is currently no teacher but there are usually 6-9 Rosemalers working on projects. If someone comes and is interested the group is able to get them a start and guide them to a beginning class. TPRS members have taught classes in the arrowhead region including Grand Rapids, Proctor and Duluth. TPRS has participated in the Duluth-stamman: Nordic Folk Music and Dance Festival, put on by the Nordic Center. TPRS has shared and demonstrated Rosemaling at the Sons of Norway meeting in Duluth and at community events such as the Aging Together Resource Fair in Proctor. The first goal is 10% more admissions. Admissions are at the door and all adults that pay the small admission will be counted toward the 410 admissions goal. The second goal is having at least 150 pieces of Rosemaling available on the TPRS table. The pieces will be counted before the door to the festival opens. To measure the third goal of finding people interested in trying Rosemaling a sign up sheet will be available at the information table where interested people can leave their contact information.
