Project Details

They will perform in several Drum and Bugle Corps competitions throughout Minnesota and the Midwest, perform in several parades, and host the Drum Corps Expo, August 2022. Funds will be used for salaries.

The number of Minnesotans who are able to participate in the arts increases. The quality, types and number of arts opportunities in our region, and the organizations or venues that offer them increases. New relationships with members of groups that have traditionally been underserved by the arts or by the applicant organization are built. The number of Minnesotans who are engaged in arts education and learning opportunities increases. We plan to provide a demographics survey for audience members of the Drum Corps and Arts Expo, an in-depth survey of membership to determine how the season went, and staff interviews to determine what organizational aspects can be improved. Measurable Outcome(s)

We conduceted a survey and received a lot of comments of a positive nature that we are back to in-person programs. As always we hear comments about how our sound system needs improving. Last year we had an increase in a new ethnic group as we had several new families join our school from that group.
