Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The number of Minnesotans who are able to participate in the arts increases. The quality, types and number of arts opportunities in our region, and the organizations or venues that offer them increases. Real or perceived barriers to arts participation and arts access are identified and addressed. New relationships with members of groups that have traditionally been underserved by the arts or by the applicant organization are built. The number of Minnesotans who are engaged in arts education and learning opportunities increases. The quality and types of arts education and learning opportunities in our region, and the organizations or venues that offer them increases. Real or perceived barriers to arts learning are identified and addressed. A team of coordinators will create both a student survey about the Storytelling Camp and an audience survey for the Red Carpet experience. StoryArk staff will compile, tabulate, and share the results of the surveys with the three districts.

Measurable Outcome(s)

We learned a lot from our survey and have already adapted some of the feedback into our 2022/23 class plans. We determined that the Facebook Live events weren't always watch live, but MANY people did go back and watch them after they were uploaded to our Facebook page after the event ended. This was encouraging to see that the video was receiving attention even after the live event. We also got high marks for our media campaigns to promote all our events this year. We have a Development Coordinator this year and investing in that position clearly made a large difference. We also learned that newcomers to our Recital were more likely to attend a future Mankato Ballet Company event after having seen our recital performances.
