Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The number of Minnesotans who are able to participate in the arts increases. The quality, types and number of arts opportunities in our region, and the organizations or venues that offer them increases. Real or perceived barriers to arts participation and arts access are identified and addressed. We will create three exit surveys to measure our goals and outcomes. One is for the audience to complete. The others will be for the choir members and the Choral Scholars. The exit surveys will be inserted into each program. Performer surveys to the artist participants will be collected at the end of the season.

Measurable Outcome(s)

An exit survey was created and tabulated by the director and was distributed to the audience in each program. The response from the St. Peter audience was much better than we have ever received in the past. We received responses from 67% of the audience. 18% of the respondents were attending a concert for the first time. Considering this was a home concert, it was very gratifying to see we attracted new audience members. The concert was well received with 65% rating the concert as excellent. The audience comments on the surveys were also very affirmative. The plan was to distribute surveys to the choir at the Le Sueur concert and to collect them at the final gathering of the season. Since neither of these events took place due to Covid-19, the surveys were not distributed or collected. Choir members were given the opportunity to share feedback via email by sending thoughts or comments to the director.
