ACHF Arts Access
The number of Minnesotans who are able to participate in the arts increases. The quality, types and number of arts opportunities in our region, and the organizations or venues that offer them increases. Real or perceived barriers to arts participation and arts access are identified and addressed. New relationships with members of groups that have traditionally been underserved by the arts or by the applicant organization are built. DalekoArts will conduct a comprehensive data collection effort to greater understand its audiences and their engagement with the programmed Season. Post-show surveys collecting demographic and qualitative data after each performance will be conducted, and in addition, a focus group of randomly-selected audience members will be assembled for interview upon completion of the Season. A survey given to all Season artists collects information on artist experience, including venue, audience engagement, success of arts education component, symmetry of experience with goals.
Post-show surveys went out and were returned at a high rate. The information gathered went a long way towards helping us understand that these two productions were very well received by our audience.
