Red Wing Art Association will welcome audiences interested in quilts and stitching to its gallery for the exhibit "Stories in Stitches." 1. Data collection: attendance at two receptions; number of visitors while exhibit is on display. 2. Personal interviews with attendees and artists. 3. Follow up online surveys to participating artists.
Goal 1) Arts and Art Access: Project promoted quilting as an art form and connected women-focused events in the community. Goal 2) Arts and Cultural Heritage: Project focused on a venerable folk art form and the historical stories behind a quilt.
