Davu Seru composes a new work for Zeitgeist that is of high artistic quality and enjoyable for new audiences. Zeitgeist's Playing it Close to Home production is attended by 300 people. Attendance will be measured by an audience count. Artistic quality of new work will be measured by surveying and observing our audience and consulting with our performing artists.
Davu Seru created a new work for Zeitgeist, and this new work, plus compositions by 3 contest winners, was presented at 3 Playing it Close to Home concerts reaching 330 audience members. Audience surveys, informal audience interviews, and feedback from artistic staff indicate that the experience of the performance was transformative and meaningful for audiences and artists.
