Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra will present a series of 6 orchestral music performances over the course of 9 months, beginning September 2014 and ending May 2015. Average expected attendance at each performance is between 400 and 1000, for a total of approx. 4000 community members served. These concerts will be held in convenient neighborhood venues across the Twin Cities metro area in cities such as Roseville, Minneapolis, St Paul, Edina and more. The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra will measure the success of its concerts by tracking attendance and gauging audience response at the conclusion of the performances. The board of directors will measure playing member satisfaction by administering surveys at the end of each season, as well as after several of the concerts. We will also track our financial health by tracking audience and member contributions.
