Project Details
Funding for the Twin Cities Jazz Workshop, a summer experience offering professional jazz and improvisation instruction to local students. Each instruction series will culminate in a performance opportunity at the Dakota Jazz Club. The project will begin in summer 2013.

Forty-seven youth participated in extended workshops with professional musicians, learning the art of jazz improvisation; students displayed improved improvisational skills at public performances at the Dakota Jazz Club and Icehouse Restaurant.
