To facilitate the development of an original piece of writing; to nurture practical leadership skills and connect theater training to life skills; to create avenues for peer mentorship and leadership development; to orchestrate the presentation of an original piece of devised theatre; to provide the framework and structure for the creative process; to approach classical and contemporary text.Outside evaluator reports to staff.
Nineteen young women of color gained developed original theatrical works and gained leadership experience; more than double the proposed programmatic hours were conducted to meet demand.
