As a result of this program, family units will experience an increase in movement to music through the knowledge of, invitation to, and involvement of, all-inclusive multigenerational family dance parties. Physical, neural and expressive growth will be benefits participants gain through the use of rhythm games, line dances, partner forms and folk dances. Bringing awareness to dance will encourage changes in attitude and awareness allowing for "permission" to dance in public. Evaluation methods include a questionnaire administered by event organizers, Susan A. Langhout and Jon P. Langhout, Jr. after each event to measure awareness of and participation barriers to social dancing.
