Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this program, students may gain knowledge and awareness that participating in band and practicing their instruments can be a lifelong skill. Exposing students to excellence in musicianship also gives young people an opportunity to decide to take lessons or aspire to practice and improve. For others, attending a live performance can help develop a lifelong appreciation for live performances. It is a goal of Copper Street Brass ?to show the power of music to spark joy.? Heartland Concert Association volunteers will provide paper and pencils for students and teachers to write down and/or draw their impressions during the performance to measure the impact on those who attend. Heartland Concert Association Board members who attended will be asked to share their impressions as well.
