As a result of this program, community members aged 16 and up (but primarily serving age 60+) will experience a marked improvement in knowledge and skill of color pencil portrait work through instruction and application of color theory. Evaluation methods include surveys administered before and after the seminar to measure the participant's level of knowledge and practical progress in color pencil portraiture and the application of color theory and for both artist and participants to gage the engagement of participants with the presenting artist and her material.
As a result of this program, 12 (target audience) experienced a new view on applying colored pencil in layers and building texture in/about a portrait for more life like pictures.
