As a result of this project, community members, non-musicians and musicians alike in northern Minnesota, will develop a greater awareness of new chamber music by women composers by attending workshops and performances of these works. Evaluation methods include surveys administered after or during the festival to measure overall effectiveness of the festival and awareness of new chamber music in audience members, including community members and non-musicians.
