As a result of this project, participants will learn about the Scandinavian countries and some of their ancient tales. Students and community members will work together in mask making exercises, costume design and the fine art of stilt-walking. The participants will meet bi-weekly with puppeteers via Zoom to learn about the new skill they will work on for a two week period. This instruction will be duplicated every other week so that by spring, all the necessary props and costumes are done. The Evaluation method we use is a handout for each participant to fill out. Again, because of the varying age groups we will be working with, the questions will be modified so that even someone who is 6 years of age and answer the questions. We will also ask the participants how they learned about the after-school puppet project.
