Funds will assist Headwaters Music and Arts to offer several performances featuring harpist Nicolas Carter, as well as a workshop for harpists on Improvising with Latin American Rhythms.

As a result of this program, Bemidji area youth and adults will experience an increase in awareness of the culture and history of Latin America through a series of events that will include storytelling, power point presentations, and Paraguayan harp performances. Evaluation methods include survey administered following performances or workshops to measure the change in awareness in youth and adults in the Bemidji area.
