ACHF Arts Access
As a result of attending or being involved in Meredith Wilson's The Music Man, audience and cast members will experience a change in knowledge regarding the historical context of small town America in the late 1950's. Sleeted audience members from schools and assisted living facilities will be provided packets to learn more about the life and times of Meredith Wilson and his work. Evaluation methods include a paper survey as part of the learning packets groups receive on arrival to measure engagement by audience members in a live theater production. The survey will be mentioned during the curtain speech given by director Mary Knox-Johnson before the show starts and a follow up email will be sent to each teacher/representative reminding them to complete and return the survey.
