ACHF Arts Access
As a result of this program, participants in the HCDAC art program will experience increased knowledge and awareness of the elements of visual art by studying artists and styles and creating their version of the art in preparation for and participation in The Art Leap and public art exhibits. This participation will help increase self confidence and the ability to work better with peers and staff. Evaluation methods include a worksheet that will be completed by the artist after the art class to measure participation and improvements in socialization in the Adult DDI participants. Goals will be created by the artist to help each person improve and those goals will be evaluated during each session and notes will be made as to accommodations that need to be made to help each person achieve their goals. We will also ask the client participants to rate their own participation.
