ACHF Arts Access
As a result of this program, pedestrians and travelers will become aware that Downtown Park Rapids has opportunities for shopping, dining and other activities year-round and that these opportunities include other arts-related opportunities, events and activities. Evaluation will include 3 questions asked of the mural artists and pedestrians during the 5 days the mural is being painted. The questions asked of pedestrians will be: Where do they live, have they shopped Downtown in the past or plan to shop there and are they aware of the art galleries, bookstore and other community arts activity. The project director and volunteers will record answers daily. The steering committee will assess comments they hear during and after the mural is completed.
