Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this funding, youth selected for this cohort will experience a minimum of a 50% improvement in skills developed based on their own self assessment of skills using a pre and post survey. The skills gained by learning from mentors about creativity and artistic design of a sculpture as well as wood working and metal art skills to create those sculptures will be assessed with a 0-5 Likert Scale survey administered on the day that the cohort begins and on the day it ends. Evaluation methods include a Likert Scale 0-5 Pre and Post Survey with a choice of Poll Everywhere App or paper copy administered on the day the cohort begins and the day it ends to measure 50% growth in skill improvement in both creative design concepts and pragmatic skills needed to create the sculpture. Questions are above and our target audience are the youth selected to work with these master artists.
