ACHF Arts Access
As a result of the art classes, lower-income participants will increase their knowledge of visual arts techniques in making a pendant, learning the basics of drawing and the unique art of quilling and may be able to carry on in their private lives. By participating in these classes, participants will also become more aware of the programs that the Armory Arts and Events Center has to offer and that these are accessible to them, as well. Participating in the arts contributes to the overall well-being of an individual and increases their awareness of their potential skills. Evaluation methods will include a survey administered after the class is completed to all participants. This survey will help to measure the satisfaction of participants and what they learned, the cost of the class, what we did well and ways to improve our class offerings. Instructors will also be given an opportunity to share their feedback on the class and how Armory Arts and Events Center can improve upon its offerings and facilities.
