Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Tru Ruts will create a filmmaking process to train emerging Black filmmakers and provide needed production opportunities for skilled Black filmmakers. Participants and audiences will be provided with written surveys to help us learn from our successes and how we can improve the program. We will also record oral surveys with participants and at screenings to further evaluate the program. 2: Tru Ruts will present community screenings of the two episodes upon completion of the program. There will be written and oral surveys for audience members to share their reactions to the films. There will be a post-screening discussion in the form of speed dating to give direct exchange with participants and community.
