Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Saint Cloud area residents will have access to Somali art forms not available in their community. Number of attendees will be measured at each event, and those attendees will be asked to complete a short survey about their previous access to, and experience with, Somali art forms. 2: New audiences will better understand historic Somali cultural arts, their importance, and their relevance in Minnesota communities. Of those attending the programs, we will request a short survey of what they knew or had seen of Somali arts and culture before attending, had seen presented in the Saint Cloud area, and understood about Somali people in Minnesota before and after.

Measurable Outcome(s)

St. Cloud Residents had access to Somali art forms. Most of the events were virtual which had viewerships. The data collected show attendees had few accessible Somali art. 2: New audiences were exposed to historic Somali cultural arts and their relevance in Minnesota communities. The data showed most of the attendees did not attend Somali arts and culture events before.
