Ragamala Dance Company will engage with community institutions to present Ragamala Rooted: Fires of Varanasi, a nine-month series of activities publicly exploring the cultural roots of Ragamala's work.

Ragamala and partner institutions will develop connections with one another and expand our constituencies through collaboratively designed programs. We will track attendance numbers, attendees' previous engagement with Ragamala/partner organizations, and qualitative feedback via comment cards (paper and electronic), video interviews, social media, informal conversation, and post-project meetings. 2: Diverse Minnesotans will see their own experience reflected in Ragamala's work and feel connected to/invested in work whose roots may be unfamiliar. We will collect qualitative feedback via comment cards (paper and electronic), video interviews, social media, informal conversation, and post-project meetings with our partnering organizations.
Ragamala deepened existing institutional partnerships and developed new ones, expanding their constituencies through collaboratively designed programs. Attendance numbers and attendee feedback were collected via Zoom chats during digital events, comments left via YouTube/Facebook/Instagram, and emails from attendees. 2: Participants gained new insight into Ragamala's work and were left feeling inspired, connected, and hopeful during challenging times.
