Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Through a sustained, in-depth approach, a cohort of young African American men will feel that History Theatre is a home for artistic engagement. At midway and final interviews, the cohort will respond to questions about feeling welcome at History Theatre, and their likelihood of returning to attend a show or work as an artist. Project coordinator will provide ongoing observations as well.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Through multiple entry points, a group of young, mostly BIPOC people experienced theatre as a viable, welcoming avenue for future work in the arts. Post program debrief with Hickman and qualitative data collected from participants' vision statements.
