CLIMB Theatre will collaborate with local playwrights who have connections to three underserved neighborhoods in the Twin Cities, working with residents to create community based theatrical works uncovering stories within those specific communities.

CLIMB builds connections in three underserved metro neighborhoods by partnering with local playwrights to lead community conversations about legacy. CLIMB will survey participating community organizations to determine if they will work with CLIMB again, and track all new partnerships created organically from our work in these communities. 2: Three underserved Metro neighborhoods build trust in CLIMB Theatre by sharing stories developed into a new work by CLIMB and a community playwright. CLIMB will track repeated and increases in attendance at salons, and the number of new inquiries for service to orgs in these communities; talkbacks will assess if community members see themselves reflected in these new works.
CLIMB expanded and increased the types collaborative arts programming for and with these communities. CLIMB tracked the number of new program offerings created from working with partners and saw an increase of five new types of theatre programs. 2: CLIMB expanded and built new connections with underserved metro neighborhoods. CLIMB Outreach staff asked when new locations contacted us for programing how they found out about CLIMB Theatre and they had found us through our various grassroots efforts.
