Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this program, young people will experience a hands on approach to scriptwriting and performance, helping to edit as well as perform the final theater scripts, and through their involvement learn skills regarding scriptwriting, character development, plot, structure, conflict and resolution. Evaluation methods include written surveys and anecdotal evidence collected during and after the process to learn how the young people felt regarding their increased knowledge regarding the theater process. The evaluation will also ask for feedback regarding ways to improve the experience and ask the young people to pin point any changes they would make if they were asked to participate in a similar project in the future.
