Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The student wishes to attain the following three outcomes during the Reif Center Summer Dance Intensive: achieving a solid double pirouette with regularity, understanding the feeling and story behind the choreographed moves in a dance, and fully using her port de bras while dancing. Practicing pirouettes and port de bras as well as consciously developing and staying in a story behind the moves of a dance will help the student achieve the above outcomes. To measure her success in these three aspects, student will ask her dance instructors Lance and Amy to provide feedback on her improvement over the course of her mentorship.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Student improved her pirouettes, port de bras, and her flexibility. As a result of the experience, she is noted as having become a better dancer, gaining new insights from her work with instructors from the James Sewell Ballet company staff.
