Brea Blankenfeld, Trek North student of Bemidji, was awarded $600 to mentor with visual artist Nicholas Jackson, also of Bemidji, to work on the art foundations of composition, figure drawing, and color improve her digital, watercolor, and pencil and pen technique, and complete her first childrenÆs book.To measure whether she has achieved her outcomes in composition, technique, and the completion of a book, the studentÆs art teacher will offer a critique and comparative evaluation of the studentÆs work before the mentorship and after.
