Project Details

Collaborating with Minnesotan queer seniors, Yuzna will create the short immersive cinema video that documents these seniors' true stories, to create a portrait of Minnesota's unique place in American queer history.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Audiences will learn how new and emerging technologies are expanding the possibilities of filmmaking through the viewing of the immersive-cinema film. Audiences will provide feedback during a series of immersive cinema workshops and screenings of the film. 2: The artist will develop professional level technical skills in filming and post-production of immersive-cinema. A series of meetings will be held with mentors from the field of immersive-cinema wherein the artist presents their progress. Mentors will evaluate and provide written feedback on the work to ensure it maintains professional level of quality.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesota artists develop and use skills for engaging with audiences or communities. Audiences will provide feedback during an online immersive cinema workshops. 2: Minnesota artists develop their artistic practice.
