ACHF Arts Access
Produce a series of large-scale drawings of the human form, developing new skills of working more spontaneously and with mixed media. Success will be evaluated by the quality of the finished works and by breakthroughs in using mixed media in the studio. 2: Mount an exhibition of this new work, including an artist talk with Q and A. Success will be evaluated by the attendance during exhibition and open studio events, engagement during the public talk/Q and A, feedback from other artists, and the work's reach on social media.
The artist produced several series of small and large-scale drawings and mixed media collages, and developed new competencies through experimentation. Success was evaluated by consistent studio output, development of new methodologies, and quality of finished works. 2: The artist successfully mounted three exhibitions of new work and engaged communities outside of the Twin Cities through artist talks and social media. Success was evaluated by in-person attendance at the exhibitions (impacted by pandemic restrictions, of course), attendance to a virtual artist talk, and engagement on social media.
