ACHF Arts Access
Artist Drew Peterson will present two new bodies of work in a solo exhibition at Burnet Gallery in 2020. Through a free public reception and invitational visits with curators, the artists will engage in critical dialogue surrounding the work that reveals new interpretations and constructive criticism. 2: The artist will investigate new processes that employ laser cutting and CNC routing technologies to develop sculptural objects. Finished works will be critiqued through studio visits and successful pieces will be exhibited. Knowledge of new technologies will be integrated into my practice in an ongoing basis.
Completed two bodies of work but is waiting to have a public exhibition until sp. 2022. I completed two bodies of work. This was fully documented by a professional photographer and gathered in a digital portfolio. The pieces were professionally framed and will be featured in a public exhibition in sp. 2022. 2: I was not able to access this original resource due to Covid. However I did develop a new body of work. I needed to adapt my plan of working three-dimensionally due to Covid. Instead, I developed a body of work involving screen printing on Belgium linen stretched to panel. This is a new body of work made possible with grant funds.
