Ellen Mueller will enlarge her audience by publicly screening this experimental short film at one Twin Cities location. Mueller will evaluate the success by tracking the number of viewers/participants at the public screening, and by tracking online interactions with social media promotions. 2: Ellen Mueller will develop her artistic practice by directing and editing a new experimental short film. Mueller will evaluate the new work by getting feedback from two well-established artists in the field, as well as through a question and answer session after the public screening.
Mueller enlarged their audience through the creation and screening of the works. During the screening (still somewhat physically distanced and partially masked, as people were just transitioning out of state mandates), we had 21 ticketed viewers and several walk-ins. 2: Mueller developed her artistic practice by editing ten new experimental short films. Mueller received feedback from five well-established artists in the field due to a critique group that grew out of the pandemic, and through the questionswer session after the public screening.
