Project Details

Kim will write a collection of short stories about a Korean immigrant family's experience in Minnesota. She will hold a writing workshop and a public reading at the East Side Freedom Library.

The artist will develop and use skills for engaging with audiences or communities. The outcome will be evaluated by the successful completion of a collection of short stories, a public reading, and a writing workshop held at the East Side Freedom Library.

The artist continued to develop her skills as a writer, engaging with audiences though not formally due to Covid. The artist completed a manuscript draft, however public reading and writing workshop were not held due to Covid.
