Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To further develop as a writer, primarily by working with established writers/mentors, in order to complete a full manuscript. The outcome will be successful if I have a finished draft of the manuscript by the end of the grant period. 2: Conduct two readings/discussions: a reading open to the general public and a second one with students at the University of Minnesota medical students. The outcome will be successful if both readings are be completed. Following the readings there will be discussions pertinent to the respect audiences.

A 215 page manuscript was completed in November of 2021 and submitted to one of the artists for review. 2: Two readings were conducted in December 2021. A hybrid reading at the University of Minnesota Medical School, through The Center for Art of Medicine, occurred on 12/2/2021. A hybrid reading for the general public took place on 12/13/2021.
