ACHF Arts Access
Complete 6-10 wearable sculptures that provide comfort in architectural spaces by merging with them. This outcome will be evaluated through open studios and community discussions organized by the artist to determine the usability and amount of comfort provided by the objects. 2: Host open studios and writing workshops directed at engaging marginalized community members. Engage the wider community about objects. Hosting open studios allows me to expand my network within the local artistic community, gain more experience in hosting public events, and gather valuable critique on my in-progress work from community members.
Minnesota Artists develop their artistic practice. Artist had discussions and meetings with local artists the objects were created for to determine usability and comfort of the objects. Through this, the artist deepened their community practice. 2: Host open events to present and create a discussion space around work. Artist hosted an event (left field) consisting of work from local artists to create space to expand network and increase community engagement.
