I will develop new technical skill in machine embroidery. I will use these skills to collaborate with local student groups to produce Merit Badges. I will evaluate this outcome by my proficiency with the digital embroidery software, my ability to teach its basics to students, the success of producing the Merit Badges and with written feedback by the students at the end of our collaboration. 2: I will produce limited-edition machine embroidery works to offer for sale at a group pop-up shop including high school students and local artists. The outcome will be evaluated by the success of all artists that vend at the shop, audience attendance and sales revenues. A brief survey will be offered to participants and audiences to evaluate the feasibility of another sale the following year.
I developed technical skills in machine embroidiery. I collaborated with local students to create their own images. I taught nine students and their teacher at RALC how to make images for the machine and spoke to them about their results afterwards (instead of a survey) as the group was small. 2: I produced a series of limited-edition embroidery images and offered them for sale. I sold multiple embroideries at Threshold Arts during 2/2022 as well as on my Instagram account, generating income for the project. Due to Covid, I did not have a pop-up shop or engage other artists in sales of their work.
