Through the completion of an extensive body of work, the artist will hone their craft and expand their knowledge of local wild medicines. The creation of new work will culminate in a solo exhibition at Silverwood Park. The work will have been successful if individuals leave the gallery and enter the landscape of the park with renewed curiosity about our local plant communities. 2: By offering public workshops and planting a medicinal garden, the artist will expand conversations about wild plant medicines into a wider audience. This outcome will be evaluated by participation in the workshops and feedback from park visitors. Workshops will be successful if participants are able to engage directly with the landscape as a basis for artistic creation.
