To create and exhibit a new body of work that examines gender, craft, kitsch, and how outside factors influence identity. The outcome will be evaluated by the completion of the project in preparation for a public exhibition and artist talk. The exhibit will be documented, include gallery visitor count for the duration of the show, and collected feedback from visitors.
I created a body of ceramic work that celebrated identity, gender, kitsch and craft. My virtual gallery tour on Instagram live had 80 viewers and my YouTube artist Talk has been viewed over 160 times.
