Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To travel to different topographical areas of Minnesota to photograph and complete the project Otherworld and produce a finished set of hand-made prints. The initial images are of desolate, barren landscapes, but this grant would enable the artist to expand the project by making images of more lush topographies, including forests, prairies, lakes and snow, and in all seasons and weather conditions. 2: To develop confidence in approaching, presenting and discussing the work with museums and galleries. A professionally presented, cohesive body of work will give the artist confidence to meet with galleries and curators, present the work in its final form and receive constructive feedback, with the aim of getting future exhibitions and acquisitions.
