Project Details

Massey will produce a series of paintings depicting industrial scenes along the Hiawatha Avenue corridor in Minneapolis and exhibit them at the East Lake Library in Minneapolis.

This project will enhance and develop the artist's skills, broaden an audience less familiar with his work and advance his career professionally. Level of success in producing a cohesive body of work and the degree of attendance at the exhibit. Interest and community feedback will be the measure.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Final outcomes were in line with projections. Artist skills and proficiency were enhanced. Audience was reached by exhibit at public library. A cohesive body of twenty-two paintings were exhibited for eight weeks at East Lake Hennepin County Library. Positive response led to four additional weeks of exhibit at library's request.
