Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesota artists are able to expand or further develop their artistic abilities through varied learning opportunities. Minnesota artists are able to develop business skills needed to support their professional art work. More Minnesotans are able to engage in or with the work of Minnesota artists.

Measurable Outcome(s)

1. This project enabled me to expand my artistic abilities by providing me time and structure to devote to writing. Furthermore, the project enabled me to receive feedback from two other writers through a manuscript critique. 2. This was evaluated by the completion of a 65 page manuscript that was reviewed by two writers, Ellen Marie Hinchcliffe and Gabrielle Civil. 2: 1. Organizing and using the budget of this grant pushed me to learn how to track money in relationship to art. Furthermore, the logistics of the readings required that I learn the set-up and business side of finding space and hosting an event. 2. The successful execution of the grant budget and readings serve as the evaluation of this achievement.
