Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesota artists are able to expand or further develop their artistic abilities through varied learning opportunities. Minnesota artists are able to develop business skills needed to support their professional art work. More Minnesotans are able to engage in or with the work of Minnesota artists.

Measurable Outcome(s)

During the grant period, I was able to spend considerable time developing a script for a half-hour film. Since I had no previous training in scriptwriting, I consider this outcome extremely valuable. This result came about my effort in developing the story and working with three script consultants. Each consultant helped me in shaping my story by giving me feedback as well as insights into how to translate my story into a screenplay. My evaluation is based on the feedback I received from various people and during the public reading of the script. Based on this method, I think I successfully achieved my goal. 2: During this period, I also advanced my business skills by being diligent and resourceful in staying close to the project’s budget for the production of the video segment based on the script.
