Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

More Minnesotans are able to engage in or with the work of Minnesota artists.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Minnesotans attended the readings I gave and actively participated through the question and answer sessions. The audiences gained an understanding of the issues addressed in the readings of my work and the work of the other Minnesota artists I included: historical trauma, racism, addiction and the environment among others. The readings also provided a window into how art can address issues that are important to the people of Minnesota. I evaluated the achievements through feedback given to me by the audiences.
