Project Details
Kanner will work on a memoir about what she and her brother have experienced since he joined the Marines in October of 2002. She will also organize a public reading at Dreamland Arts, in Saint Paul, to share her new work about the human costs of war.

I got to work with Patricia Weaver Francisco. We met in person a couple of times, we emailed, and she gave me typed written feedback. Also, she evaluated my entire essay collection using Track Changes. She was very supportive of my work in general and especially enthusiastic about "Operation Phantom Fury." I got to read with other Minnesota writers for an audience of Minnesotans and receive questions and feedback from the audience.
