Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Frame and display my work in solo exhibits and promote my work online and through postcards to promote the exhibits. Completed solo exhibits at the Threshold Gallery in Highpoint Center for Printmaking and the Groveland Gallery Annex, in addition to other venues. Completed revision and update of my website. Publication of postcards to promote the exhibits. 2: Learn how to design a website that makes use of recent innovations, including a shopping cart, PayPal and credit card payment options and a more sophisticated online gallery. My existing website will be substantially improved and re-designed to meet these criteria. Navigation will be simpler and more efficient, purchasing options will be readily available, and the site will have a cosmetic update.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The first solo exhibit was a wonderful success with a pleasantly large attendance at the opening and gallery talk. There were enough requests for a repeat of the gallery talk that I hosted it a second time. Other venues have asked about hosting the same exhibit in the future, so I am now working on extending the series and arranging more venues for exhibition. 2: Through the support of the grant I was able to make a substantial overhaul to my website, as well as complete and frame enough new, larger prints to merit ongoing solo exhibitions. Both had been obstacles to my work prior to the grant.
