ACHF Arts Access
My wish for this project is for my work to gain exposure and continued development through donating finished canvases to clinics/hospitals/etc. in the area. I've always wanted my art to have a purpose and function versus just being interpreted subjectively; one of the reasons I want them in hospitals, clinics, or other places where people might not feel so great. Something that puts one into a state of awe where they forget the problems for a moment. The ultimate long term goal would be to turn my light up canvas idea into a business. A grant like this could be the spark that stokes the fire for something amazing. In attempts to monitor progress I will be including a QR code, business card, and/or brochure on the side of the light up canvases that are donated. They will link to my Etsy and other related socials where I can monitor online traffic numbers to see if it's gaining people's interests outside of the establishment it's hanging in. I would also catalog and prove each donation by photographing it hanging in the establishment.
