My goal is to be able to build my knowledge in Making and Creating Star Quilts. With the help of this project I'll be able to purchase much needed equipment and materials that I wouldn't have been able to get. It'll really bring great joy knowing that us indigenous people are not forgotten about and that our ways and art matters. As an artist this project will boost my confidence and hopefully get me to step out of comfort zone and try new things so i can be that one to teach eventually. I plan to measure my project by showing and comparing old work to my new work.
Without this support it would not have been possible to explore the ability to create and expand art, to continue developing more projects. I know I can do great things and all the ideas I had turned out to be very satisfying.
