Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Ultimately, I want to continue being able to paint. In order to justify doing that I need to be able to manage my time more effectively and make painting somewhat lucrative. With this grant funding I will be able to accomplish this in the following ways: Improve efficiency: Because of my full-time job and young son I want to streamline my painting process. Improve quality: Being able to view high resolution photographs will allow me to make more accurate and detailed paintings. In addition, upgrading my painting supplies (brushes, paints, and canvases) will produce higher quality art pieces and allow me to charge more for them. Generate more income: I will create more art pieces for sale, publicly exhibit a series titled, "Duluth... and zombies," generate prints for sale, and reopen my Etsy store. I will be successful if: I purchase a camera and computer monitor to take and view high resolution photographs to use in creating art. I purchase and use Photoshop to create more complex and creative art and generate prints of my artwork. I purchase painting supplies to create more art pieces. I create 10 new pieces of art to complete my series titled, "Duluth... and zombies." I reopen my Etsy art store. I increase my art sales at least 20% compared to previous years.
